Gophers Suffer 1-0 Loss to Flying Dutchmen

Corner Kick Produces Only Goal of Tight Contest

ANNVILLE, Pa. - Goucher kept Lebanon Valley off the scoreboard well into the second half today until the Flying Dutchmen capitalized on a corner kick to score the only goal of the contest and emerge with a 1-0 victory over the Gophers.

The corner kick that produced a goal by Morgan Crouse at 83:00 was one of 12 that were awarded to Lebanon Valley during the game. The Gophers (3-3) were granted just two corner kicks and were out-shot 14-9.

Justin Holbrook (Claymont, DE/Wilmington Friends School) went the distance in goal for Goucher and made seven saves.
