The Recruiting Process
Our goal in the recruiting process is to find top-level players
who fit Goucher and meet its academic standards. It is an important
process for both you as a student/athlete and for us as we try to
help you make the best possible decision. Here are some suggestions
to help you in the process:
1-Contact Us. Fill out the recruiting prospective player questionnaire so we
will have your information. In addition, feel free to contact Head
Coach Gary Dunda at email gdunda@goucher.edu.
2-Visit Campus. You can schedule a trip to campus
and tailor the visit to your specific needs. The soccer program can
schedule your entire visit including hosting you for the day or
overnight, taking you on a tour of campus, and having you attend a
class. If you are interested in having Goucher admissions help you
on your visit, you can also schedule a visit through the admissions
office at (410) 337-6101.
3-Come and watch a game. It is very helpful to get
an idea of what the level and speed of play is like, as well as see
the team’s style of play. It is important to let us know if
you are going to attend a game so that we can find a few minutes
before or after the game to meet with you.
4-Send us a DVD. Send a game or highlight DVD of
you playing, particularly if we are missing you at the tournaments
you are attending .We can't get out to view everyone play, despite
our best efforts and our desire to see everyone we are recruiting.
A DVD at least gives us a first look in evaluating your ability to
play at Goucher.
Information and DVD’s can be mailed directly to:
