Gary Dunda is entering his seventh season as the head men's soccer coach at Goucher College. In 2003, he was selected Men's Soccer Coach of the Year in the Capital Athletic Conference.

Dunda initiated his coaching career at Messiah College, his alma mater. There he was credited with recruiting and instructing a number of the players on the team that captured the NCAA Division III national championship in 2000.

His association with the sport of soccer extends beyond being the head coach at Goucher. In 2006, he was named head coach of Maryland's under-13 Olympic Development Program. His team experienced tremendous success, going undefeated (6-0) in Region I play and placing 11 players in the Region I player pool.

Dunda is the director of the Goucher Soccer Team Academy which he launched in 2006 in conjunction with several high school soccer programs in the state of Maryland. In addition, he remains involved with the Elite 300 Soccer Academy, currently in the position of senior staff member.

In January 2006, Dunda earned his National Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, achieving a "distinguished pass" commendation from the NSCAA. The following year he was awarded his Advanced National Diploma from the NSCAA, again with "distinguished pass" honors.

Dunda, his wife Heather, their daughter Madeline and son Wil reside in Towson.
