Landmark Releases Winter Academic Honor Roll
Two Male Swimmers Represent Goucher's Swimming ProgramMarch 19, 2008
MADISON, N.J. - Two male swimmers were among the 30 student-athletes from Goucher who were recognized today by the Landmark Conference for academic accomplishments by being placed on the 2007-08 Winter Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll.
The honor roll contains the names of 258 student-athletes of sophomore standing or higher from the eight member institutions who played one of the six sports in which the Landmark Conference conducts a championship during the winter and have achieved a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.
The following men's swimmers represented Goucher on the 2007-08 Winter Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll: Andrew Castro (San Francisco, CA/Stuart Hall) and Michael Polonchak (Harpers Ferry, WV).
The Landmark Conference is in its first year of competition and
includes eight like-minded institutions covering the mid-Atlantic
region.
