Thomas Till will have been the head coach of Goucher's swimming programs for a full decade at the conclusion of the Gophers' 2007-08 campaign. Since his arrival at the school, his duties have expanded to include those associated with being the aquatics director and assistant director of athletics.
Till, who twice was named Women's Swimming Coach of the Year while Goucher was a member of the Capital Athletic Conference, was a highly decorated swimmer at The College of New Jersey and will be inducted into that school's Athletic Hall of Fame in 2008.
Following his graduation in 1995, Till remained at TCNJ to help coach the swimming teams and work toward his master's degree He later was an assistant coach at Florida Atlantic University.
Till and his wife, Kristen, are the parents of two children: a
daughter, Madeline, 4, and a son, Sam, 2.
