Men's Tennis Handles Endicott at Hilton Head, 7-2

HILTON HEAD, SC – The Goucher College men's tennis team (5-4, Landmark 0-0) won its second match in as many days, taking a 7-2 win over Endicott College at the Hilton Head Beach & Tennis Resort.

Following doubles, the Gophers held onto a 2-1 lead. Freshman Michael Herman (Prague, Czech Republic) and Sophomore Elliot Diehl (York, PA) won 8-4 at No. 2 doubles. Freshman Frankie Mullinix (Washington, DC) and sophomore Josiah Meekins (Trenton, NJ) paired up at No. 3 doubles, winning 8-1.

Freshman Slade Duma (Great Falls, VA) (No. 5 singles) and Diehl (No. 4 singles) took home decisive wins in singles play. Dumas handled Jack DeRizzo 6-1, 6-0 while Diehl toppled Sean McAndrews 6-1, 6-2.
