CARLISLE, Pa. — Goucher scored 15 points in four events to finish in 10th place today at the Dickinson Invitational.
The highest finishes for the Gophers were in the 4 x 200-meter and 4 x 400-meter relays. In the 4 x 200, the entry of Manuel Carranza (Silver Spring, Md./Wheaton), Will Evans III (Baltimore, Md./Overlea), Zachary Byrum (Stafford, Va./Brooke Point) and Lovell Kosh (Chester, Pa./Christiana) was clocked at 1:39.93, good for fourth place.
Goucher's entry in the 4 x 400 picked up six points for finishing in third place with its time of 3:44.42. It was made up of Owen Lehmer (Freeport, Maine/Freeport), Byrum, Carranza and Troy Browne (Springdale, Md./C.H. Flowers).
Evans placed sixth overall in the 55-meter dash as he raced across the finish line in 6.79 seconds and Kosh was eighth in the shot put thanks to an effort of 37'6 1/2".
