Wenzler Settles for Second Place in Long Jump
Litz Clears 12'6" to Take Third Place in Pole Vault

ANNVILLE, Pa. – Goucher's Scott Wenzler
(Larchmont, N.Y./Mamaroneck) was runner-up in the long
jump competition today at the Lebanon Valley Invitational.
The sophomore's effort of 18-feet, 6.75-inches was just one-quarter of an inch less than that of Ben Edwards from York, who finished in first place. As the second-place performer, Wenzler earned four points for the Gophers.
Goucher also produced the third-place performer in the pole vault competition in sophomore Chris Litz (Bel Air, Md./John Carroll). Litz cleared 12-feet, 6-inches and earned two team points.
With a team total of six points, the Gophers ended up in third
place.
