John Caslin has been on the coaching staff at Goucher College
since 1994. He has guided the men’s and women’s cross
country program for 16 years, and this is his 10th season at the
helm of track and field.
As Goucher’s track and field coach, Caslin has instructed
two athletes who were selected Athletes of the Year in the Capital
Athletic Conference and a third who was named CAC Rookie of the
Year.
In 2002 and 2003, Caslin was named CAC Co-Women's Coach of the
Year.
Caslin, who is certified by USA Track & Field at level II for
coaching endurance and sprints/hurdles/relays, was a successful
coach at both Ursuline Academy in Delaware and Chantilly High
School in Virginia prior to his arrival at Goucher.
