Chun Tallies Career-High,  as Women’s Basketball Falls in Last Game of Music City Classic to Wesleyan

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Sophomore guard Kerry Chun (Honolulu, Hawaii/Mid-Pacific Institute) of the Goucher College women's basketball team scored a team and career-high 13 points to lead the Gophers against Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon in their final game of the Music City Classic in Nashville.

In the ballgame, Wesleyan captured a 103-35 victory over Goucher. With the loss, the Gophers fell to 0-11 overall, while Wesleyan improved to 8-2 with the win.

Overall on the game, Chun was the lone double-digit scorer for Goucher, as she played all 40 minutes of regulation in her 13-point afternoon. It marked the second time on the year that she had scored double-digits in a contest, as she bested her previous career-high set against Washington back on Nov. 17 (12 points).

Elsewhere, junior forward Nicole Wolard (Tampa, Fla./Wharton) ended the game with nine points, while pulling down eight rebounds in a losing effort.

The Goucher College women's basketball team returns to action on Saturday, January 6, as they jump back into Landmark Conference play at home against Drew. Action gets underway at the Decker Sports & Recreation Center at 4 p.m.
