Bio

Coach Snell begins her first season as Assistant Coach with Women’s Basketball program. She played college basketball at Washington College from 1994-1998. During her senior year as a member of the Shorewomen squad, Snell served as the team captain, and was named Second Team All-Centennial, team MVP, and MVP of the Aimee Willard Memorial Basketball Tournament. Snell graduated from Washington College in the spring of 1998 with a degree in Biology.

From 2001-2006, Snell served as the head coach of the varsity girls’ program at Bel Air High School. While at Bel Air, she mentored two Al Cesky scholarship winners (2002-2003 and 2005-2006) and coached the Harford County girls’ basketball co-champions during the 2005-2006 season. From 2006-2009, Snell was the assistant women’s basketball coach at Johns Hopkins University. There she was responsible for post development and defense. Snell received her Master’s degree in Education from Towson University in December, 2006. She currently teaches biology and environmental science at Bel Air High School.
