Sutherland Earns Weekly Honor from Landmark

Pair of First-Place Performances for Junior Against Gallaudet

MADISON, N.J. - Goucher's Sam Sutherland (North Reading, MA/Austin Prep) was selected Female Swimmer of the Week in the Landmark Conference for Nov. 5-11, a conference official announced today.

The honor recognizes the junior's performance in the Gophers' 121-73 victory over Gallaudet. She placed first in the 200-yard individual medley and the 500-yard freestyle, completing the events in 2:24.56 and 5:51.50, respectively.

Sutherland was also on Goucher's victorious 200-yard medley relay.
