Landmark Recognizes Hogstrom for Second Time

Weekly Honors Follows Junior's Performance Against Arcadia

MADISON, N.J. – Goucher's Britt Hogstrom (Killington, Vt./Woodstock Union) today was named Female Swimmer of the Week in the Landmark Conference for November 17-23.

Hogstrom not only placed first in two individual events during Goucher's 125-54 non-conference victory over Arcadia on Saturday, but she also set a new pool record in the 50-yard freestyle with her split (:26.25) on the first leg of the 200-yard freestyle relay.

The junior's two first-place performances were in the 50 free (:26.40) and the 100 free (:58.02).

This is the second time that Hogstrom has earned the weekly honor from the Landmark Conference during the 2008-09 season.
