Gophers Denied Weekend Sweep by Washington College

BEL AIR, MD – The Goucher College women's tennis team was toppled by Washington College, 7-2, at Harford Community College on Sunday afternoon.

Junior Mackenzie Donohue (Bronx, NY) participated in both wins for the Gophers during the match. First, she paired with sophomore Ali Tomasevich (Harleysville, PA) to earn an 8-2 victory over Kiran Pant and Mariah Thomas at No. 3 doubles.

Donohue then went on to defeat Thomas again at No. 6 singles, 7-6 (7-4), 6-1. Donohue finished the weekend 4-0 overall winning in each flight she participated between the Gophers' win over Bryn Mawr and the loss to Washington College.
