Entry Procedure:
Tuesday April 23rd All entries will be done on Direct Athletics! Entries will be due on Tuesday April 23rd by 7:00pm. NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED. Each school is allowed 3 entries per individual event and 1 relay entrant. For a school to have more than 3 entries, all athletes must have exceeded the Landmark Conference Standards. Those standards are enclosed in this mailing. Qualifying marks must have occurred in either the indoor or outdoor season and are verified on TFRRS. If an athlete has no official mark, they must be entered and seeded as no time/ no distance/no height. An initial performance list will be posted on the Goucher College track and field website no later than noon on Wednesday April 24th.
Thursday April 25th Coaches will have until 7:00 pm to declare their scratches for the meet. If an athlete declares in an event at the meet and does not participate in it, they will not be allowed to compete in any subsequent events they are entered in. All scratches should be mailed to Mike Sanders (msanders@goucher.edu) by 7:00pm. He will not open these emails and they will be sent directly to Kevin Tumey, our timer. Kevin will make the appropriate changes and the coaches will receive them by 8:00 pm. The Coaches will meet by conference call at 8:00 pm to discuss seeding and meet business. That phone number will be sent to you as we get closer to the April 25th date. Coaches will receive an email acknowledging receipt of the scratches.
Friday April 26th Posting of heat sheets will be on the Goucher Website by 12 noon.
Implement Weigh-In: Saturday 8:30 -10:00 am (Javelin, Hammer)
Sunday 7:30-9:00am (Discus, Shot)
The weigh-ins will take place in the track shed at the participant’s entrance gate.
Athletes Check-in: For Running events, check-in will take place under the blue tent right inside the participant’s entrance gate on the southeast end of the track. Athletes must check-in 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time or they will be scratched.
For Field events, they must check-in at the venue 30 minutes prior to the event.
Javelin – runway located on D zone in stadium.
Hammer/Discus – located on the hill above the track, please follow signs to venue.
Shot Put – located by the 200 meter start line on inside of track.
Facility Notes: 1. All Participants must enter through participant’s gate on the opposite side of the track from the grandstand. Only credentialed personnel will allow being in the track stadium. Head Coaches will be given credentials for each member of their coaching staff and managers. If you are not credentialed you will not be allowed in the stadium infield for any reason.
2. There will be assigned team spots for team tents along the bowl outside the fence on the first turn. This will put the athletes in close proximity to the participant’s gate. Because of the lack of bleacher space, we do not allow tents in the grand stand area.
3. ¼ inch pyramid spikes or smaller must be used in all events including Javelin.
No needle or Christmas spikes will be allowed.
4. Triple Jump boards will be set at 28’ and 34’ (women) and 34’and 38’ (men).
5. The triple jump runway is the one closet to the track on the participant’s gate side.
6. The long jump runway is the one closest to the fence on the participant’s gate side.
Awards: Top 3 finishes in each event will receive medals. The top 8 finishers will be asked to appear at the awards area soon after the event final. Please report promptly.
Please wear official school issued sweats or attire as conference rules dictate.
Scoring will be top 8 (10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1). Top 2 finishers and relays are named all-conference. Coaches at the end of the meet will vote on Track Athlete of the Year, Field Athlete of the Year, Rookie of the Year and Coaching Staff of the Year.
Athletic Training: Athletics Trainers will be located on the infield by the steeplechase water pit on the far end of the field. Ice, water and taping will be available. Officials/Timers Kevin Tumey will provide the timing services for our meet and the Central Penn Track and Field will be the officiating crew with Bill Gallagher serving as the meet referee.

Goucher College Parking and Facility Information
We are looking forward to hosting you on this very busy weekend on our campus. Please be aware that it will also be alumni weekend. This means there is will a lot of activities happening around our campus and athletic facilities, and parking will be restricted and closely monitored. Please let your parents and fans know to give themselves some extra time when arriving on campus.
Hotel Information:
Hotel options are enclosed in your packet. If you have not done so at this point, you may want to secure hotel rooms as soon as possible.
Parking information:
Parking will also be tight, especially on Saturday, so please make your parents and families aware of this. If you are traveling by bus, your bus will be able to drop you off close to the stadium and parking attendants will give instructions to your driver on where to park offsite.
Tickets Information:
As with all Landmark Conference Championship events there will be a spectator entry fee for both days of the championships.
Ticket prices are as follows:
Adults - $5
Non-Landmark Students /Seniors (62+) - $3
Landmark Students/Youth (under 10) – Free (show valid college I.D.)
Locker Rooms:
A general locker room will be available for all teams after the meet located in the lower level of the Sports and Recreation Center. Please bring your own towels and toiletries.
