SALISBURY, MD — Fraley Coles (The Plains, VA/Highland School) ran the second-fastest 6,000-meter race in the history of the Goucher women's cross country program today to finish in 11th place at the 2006 Capital Athletic Conference Championships.

Coles crossed the finish line in 22:59. By placing 11th overall, the junior earned second-team All-CAC honors and joined Paula Karinshak (1993-96) as the only two three-time all-conference performers in program history.

Rachel Boss (Keene, NH/Keene) was the next Goucher runner to finish after Coles. She placed 20th with a time of 23:46, which is the fifth-fastest 6K in program history.
