MADISON, N.J. - For her performance at the Shenandoah Cross Country Festival on Friday, Goucher's J. Fraley Coles (The Plains, VA/Highland School) today was named Runner of the Week for Sept. 3-9 in the Landmark Conference for the sport of women's cross country.

Coles was the first collegiate runner to complete the 6,000-meter race, finishing behind only an unattached runner. The senior's time of 23:05 is the third-fastest in the history of Goucher's women's cross country program for a race of that distance.

Goucher will host the inaugural Landmark Conference Cross Country Championships on Saturday, Oct. 27.
