BALTIMORE, Md. – Goucher College placed 31 student-athletes on the Landmark Conference Spring Honor Roll. Eight seniors were named to the honor roll all three years of eligibility and nine earned the recognition for the second time in their career. In addition, all nine eligible members of the Gopher women's tennis team were named to the team.
Seniors Darby Bauer (Perkiomenville, Pa./Boyertown Area) (track and field), Ali Gorson-Marrow (Broomall, Pa./Barrack Hebrew Academy) (women's tennis), Michael Herman (Prague, Czech Republic/Gymnazium Novy PORG) (men's tennis), Katie Marzerka (Wolfeboro, N.H./Kingwood Regional) (women's tennis), Katarina Molchen (Morgantown, Pa./Twin Valley) (women's lacrosse), Mandile Mpofu (Haare, Zimababwe/Arundel School) (women's tennis), Gabrielle Umstead (Thornton, Pa./Garnet Valley) (women's lacrosse) and Matt Woodson (Timonium, Md./McDonough) (men's lacrosse) have been named to the list all three years of eligibility.
Eva Bulson-Lewis (Minneapolis, Minn./Trinity School at River Ridge) (track and field), Sam Gravel (Baltimore, Md./St. Andrews Episcopal School) (men's lacrosse), Morgan Hartman (Woodstock, Vt./Woodstock Union) (women's tennis), Sara Healy (Waterford, Va./Woodgrove) (women's tennis), Kyoko Kinoshita (Tokyo, Japan/Tilton School [N.H.]) (women's tennis), Alyssa Long (Pennsbury, Pa./Upper Perkiomen), Tetsuya Ota (Wesley Chapel, Fla./Saddlebrook Academy), Emily Pochet (Royersford, Pa./Pa Leadership Charter) (women's golf) and Emmie Starchvick (Jacksonville, Ore./Jacksonville) (women's golf) have been named to the honor roll for the second time in their career.
The Honor Roll recognizes all spring student-athletes who have reached sophomore standing with a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher. The Gophers had nine student-athletes from women's tennis, six from women's lacrosse, six from outdoor track and field, three from men's lacrosse and men's tennis and two apiece from men's golf and women's golf.
