Bio

Tina Scully was hired in the summer of 2013 as the new assistant athletic trainer at Goucher, bringing several years of experience to the athletic department.

In recent years, Scully has worked as an athletic trainer at the University of Michigan and Ohio Dominican University. With the Wolverines, Scully worked primarily with the school’s women’s soccer and tennis programs. Scully has also assisted in outreach programs with the Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

Originally from Punxsutawney, Pa., Scully received her master’s degree in athletic training from West Virginia University in 2007. As a graduate assistant for the Mountaineers, she worked with the football team during bowl victories in the 2006 Sugar Bowl and 2007 Gator Bowl.

Scully is a 2005 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where she earned a B.S. in rehab sciences with a concentration in athletic training. During her time at Pitt, she worked with school’s football, softball and track programs and also had the opportunity to assist the Pittsburgh Steelers training staff.
