Bio

Kristen Suatoni begins her first season as Graduate Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach for Goucher College.

Suatoni is a 2008 graduate of William Smith College, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in economics with a minor in public policy studies and was a four-year member of the women’s basketball team. Suatoni helped lead the Herons to three NCAA appearances – two sweet 16’s, one second round, as well as an ECAC Championship.

The past two years Suatoni served as the Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach and Facilities/Events Operations Coordinator at Alfred University. Suatoni helped lead the Alfred University Saxons from a 2-23 record to a 12-13 and 10-15 record respectively.

As facilities and events coordinator, Suatoni was responsible for scheduling the use of the University’s indoor and outdoor athletic facilities. In addition to overseeing the department’s facilities — which will include developing a year-long plan for facility use by varsity teams, intramural and club programs, faculty and staff, and the community — she was responsible for securing and overseeing game-day operation, supervising approximately 50 student workers.

Currently, Suatoni is working towards her Master’s of Education degree with a specialization in Athletic Administration here at Goucher College.
