Jack Hodges is Named Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week

TOWSON, Md. – Junior Jack Hodges (London, England) has been named the Landmark Conference Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week after opening Landmark play with wins at No. 1 doubles and singles.

Hodges and senior Midori Fujitani (Tokyo, Japan) opened the Landmark season with a dominating win, 8-2, over their opponents Ryan Seibert and Ben Ornstein of Susquehanna University. The win marks their 33^rd win together since they paired up for the first time during the 2014-15 season - a Goucher College school record.

Hodges also went on to win singles play 6-1, 6-1 over Susquehanna’s Ornstein. The win marks his 36^th win for the Blue & Gold in singles play and his 17^th win at No. 1 singles.

Hodges and the Goucher men’s tennis team will have an action packed weekend at home on April 8^th and 9^th when they play host to Scranton, Drew and Stevenson. The first match (Scranton) begins on Saturday at 1PM while the Drew and Stevenson matches commence on Sunday at 1PM.
