Kent Named Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week

TOWSON, MD – First-year Natalie Kent (Media, PA) was named the Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week following her performance at the University of Mary Washington Meet on Saturday.

Kent is being honored after setting a new school record in the discus throw with a distance of 33.26 meters during the Gophers opening meet of the 2017 season. The freshman thrower finished second in the discus and added a third-place finish in the shot put with a throw of 10.42 meters.

This is Kent’s first time being honored by the Landmark Conference. In addition to earning conference weekly honors, Kent was also named the Goucher College Athlete of the Week.

The women’s track & field team plays host during the 16^th Annual Goucher College Track & Field Classic on Saturday in Townson, MD.
