Compliance Information: Transfers
The NCAA allows a Division III student-athlete to complete a self-release form if they are interested in pursuing a transfer to another Division III school. This self-release is applicable for 30 days.
During this time, no one will know you are looking into a transfer. After 30 days, if the student-athlete wants to continue investigating their options with the school, the student-athlete must sign a second release. After the original 30 days, the transfer can become public knowledge.
If you are interested in transferring to or from a Division I or Division II school, please contact the Associate Director of Athletics/SWA, Megan Fultz at megan.fultz@goucher.edu. You cannot complete a self-release when a Division I or Division II school is involved.
