Equestrian Ranks Sixth Following Day Two of IHSA National Horse Show

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Goucher College equestrian team grabbed two more points and settled into sixth place following the second day of the 2017 IHSA National Horse Show.

Junior Rachel Brannock (Baltimore, Md.) opened the day for the Gophers, participating in the Walk-Trot Equitation division.

Sophomore Wren Wakeman (Addison, Maine) led Goucher on day two of the IHSA National Horse Show, placing fifth in team Walk-Trot-Canter Equitation, earning the team two points.

Junior Cary Hundley (Ellicott City, Md.) wrapped up Goucher's performances on Friday, participating in the USEF/Cacchione Cup Division – a competition of the nation's top hunt seat riders. The division opened with Over Fences and Hundley advanced to the second round to take part in the Cacchione Cup Equitation on the Flat.

Hundley will be the lone rider competing on Saturday taking part in the Open Equitation Over Fences and Open Equitation on the Flat – both team-scoring divisions.
