Senior Spotlight: Equestrian Cherise Madrid

Ladies and gentlemen, with today's Senior Spotlight we would like to thank a rider for her hard work and dedication to Goucher College and the equestrian program for the last four years! This senior hails from Braintree, Massachusetts, who won the national championship in the walk trot as a junior. She has ribboned in 15 events and won six competitions in her four years of competition and qualified for the IHSA Zone IV Region I Championships in three of her four years. Along with her national crown, she was the walk trot region champion and the walk trot zone reserve champion last year. Majoring in psychology, ladies and gentlemen, Cherise Madrid.

  • Won the novice flat at the Maryland/American IHSA Show on November 9
  • Qualified for the IHSA Zone IV Region I Championships
