Equestrian Clinches 14th Consecutive Zone 4 Region 1 Championship

Catonsville, Md.- The Gophers competed at University of Maryland Baltimore County IHSA this weekend. They were able to win the Zone 4 Region 1 Championship for the 14th consecutive year. Were multiple riders who qualified to compete at Regional Championship. Christinna Mlynarski won first in limited fences which allowed her to qualify for Regionals. Kellen Sullivan had a good showing winning first in open fences and placing fourth in open flat. Recieveing second in intermediate flat, and third in open fences Hope Verschleiser had a successful day at the showing. Joci Harris clinched another first place finish for the Gophers in intermediate fences. Quinn Kirkpatrick placed third in limit flat and Isabelle Butts had a third-place finish in novice flat. In the introduction category Alana Acker placed second. In limited flat Zara Heslop placed fourth.

These riders will compete on Sunday March, 16th.
