Gophers Win High-Point Team at Home

BALTIMORE, MD- Goucher hosts the IHSA Show today and earns the high-point team with numerous first-place finishes. The University of Maryland earned a reserve team.
Adriana Hardin wins the limit flat and limit fences, earning the title of high point rider. Estella Smith and Sues Hardee clinch first in the intermediate flat category. Goucher had more first-place finishes with Christina Mlynarski in intermediate fences and Maria Picoto in limit flat. Isabelle Butts finished in first place in novice flat. Hope Verschleiser finishes first in open fences, adding to the eight Gopher first-place finishes. Joci Harris's second-place finish in intermediate fences and Mackenzie Courtien's third-place finish in intro rounds out the Gophers' podium finishes. Verschleiser also placed fifth in the open flat.
The Gophers' next contest will be the Holiday Tournament of Champions on December 5th and 6th.
