Andruskiewicz Leads Gophers at Findlay with First-Place Finish
FINDLAY, OH - The Goucher College Gophers traveled to the University of Findlay to compete in the Spring Classic Tournament of Champions. This competition hosted top teams in the country and was invitation-only. The Gophers had multiple strong performances, tying for fifth place alongside reigning national champion Purdue.
Cameron Andruskiewicz earned first place in limit fences, extending his winning streak in the event. He also secured a podium finish in the limit flat, placing third. Eleanor Tabke added another third-place finish for Goucher in novice flat. Hope Verschleiser recorded two fourth-place finishes in intermediate flat and intermediate fences. Adriana Hardin placed fourth in intermediate flat and seventh in intermediate fences. Celeste Huertas finished sixth in the introductory category. Zoe Wright-Riley rounded out the results with a fifth-place finish in the Low Collegiate Medal.
The Gophers return to action as they host the Zone IV Championship on Saturday, April 4.
