Landmark Recognizes Copan as Week's Top Performer

Senior Contributes Four Goals, Assist to 3-0 Start by Gophers

Colo./Golden), who had a hand in five of the 12 goals
Goucher scored in victories over Bryn Mawr, Notre Dame (Md.) and
Cedar Crest last week, today was recognized by the Landmark
Conference as Defensive Player of the Week for September 1-7.
The senior midfielder/forward tallied one goal in the season-opening 5-0 triumph over the Owls, turned in a two-goal, one-assist performance as the Gophers were pinning a 6-0 setback on the Gators and accounted for Goucher's only goal in a 1-0 win over the Falcons when she scored unassisted with 1:19 remaining in the first half.
Copan leads the Landmark Conference in goals (4) and points (9).
