Bio
2013: Started every game for a second consecutive season … totaled one goal, one assist, 10 shots and two defensive saves … first defensive save came against Bryn Mawr on Sept. 14 … directed two shots on goal against Sweet Briar on Sept. 21 … had two more shots in the following game against Bethany on Sept. 28, collecting her first career collegiate goal to open the scoring in Goucher’s 5-0 win … added another defensive save at Dickinson on Oct. 23 … had an assist and a career-high four shots in a win over Notre Dame (Md.) on Oct. 28 … was named to the National Academic Squad by the NFHCA.
2012: Started all 16 games for the Gophers as a sophomore … finished season with four shots, all of which were on goal … picked up an assist in Goucher’s 5-0 win over Notre Dame (Md.) on Sept. 9 … registered a defensive save at Juniata on Sept. 29 … made six starts in goal, registering double-digit saves in four of those outings … had a team and season-high 19 saves against Washington (Md.) on Oct. 11 … made 17 saves in her goalie debut against Catholic on Oct. 3, and added 15 stops in her next game at Drew on Oct. 6 … earned a combined shutout with teammate Megan Meluskey in a 3-0 win over Notre Dame (Md.) on Oct. 17.

Personal: Served as a team captain in 2013, and will captain the Gophers again in 2014 … also plays lacrosse for Goucher during the spring … enjoys riding horses in her free time ... has earned a spot on the Dean’s List at Goucher … is the daughter of Thomas and Louise Gill … her twin sister, Meg, plays field hockey and lacrosse at Stevenson ... also has an older brother, Shawn … her grandfather, Thomas Hoffecker, was an All-American lacrosse goalie at Maryland.
