Senior Celia Welch (Arlington, MA) and sophomore Samantha Klock have been named Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division III Scholars of Distinction for the 2016-17 academic year.
Sept. 10 – Ferrum, Va. – The Goucher College field hockey team used a three-goal first half, and held on late, to earn their second-consecutive victory, a 4-2 decision over Ferrum College on Saturday afternoon.
Sept. 5 – VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The Goucher field hockey team used a perfect defensive game, along with a pair of goals from senior Rachel Crain, to dispatch of Randolph-Macon College on Monday afternoon at the USA Field Hockey National Training Center.
Sept. 1 – TOWSON, Md. – The Goucher College field hockey program gave the fans at Beldon Field a show during Goucher Spirit Day, erasing an early two-goal deficit to force overtime against Neumann University. However, the Gophers would fall to the Knights by a 3-2 score.
August 25 – TOWSON, Md. – Riding the momentum of a 2015 season which saw the most wins since 1995, the Goucher College field hockey team, and fifth-year head coach Megan Williams, will look to an experienced group of athletes to push toward a Landmark Conference title.
