ST. MARY’S, Md. - A goal in the 60th minute by junior Valerie Mendoza (San Diego, Calif) eventually sent the game to overtime, but host St. Mary’s (Md.) tallied the game-winner in the extra frame to defeat the Goucher College field hockey team, 2-1, on Friday afternoon.
