GAME NOTES
- The Goucher field hockey team opens up its second season under head coach Stacey Eversley on Friday at 4 p.m.
- The Gophers are starting the season at home for the first time under Eversley and the first time since 2017
- St. Mary's will be the season opening opponent for the third-straight season
- The previous two openers both went to overtime
- Goucher will host Transylvania on Sunday at 12 p.m.
- It will be the first meeting against the Pioneers, who are from Kentucky and made the trip east to play Goucher and Hood
- The roster is comprised of three freshmen, six sophomores, three juniors and five seniors
