GAME NOTES
- The Goucher field hockey team continues its road trip and ODAC tour at Randolph-Macon on Saturday
- It will be the 17th meeting in the all-time series and the first since 2017 after last year's tilt was cancelled
- The Yellow Jackets come into the contest 2-2 after falling 2-1 to St. Mary's on Wednesday
- Both teams defeated Southern Virginia this year
- The Gophers are coming off an 8-0 win against Ferrum on Sunday thanks to a career-best two goals and three assists for Mia Wiggins along with two goals and an assist apiece by Danielle Johnson and Ari Hooper
- Goucher is 3-1 for the first time since the 2014 season and for the fourth time since joining the Landmark Conference
- Johnson was named the Landmark Conference Offensive Player of the Week and earned a spot on the NFHCA Honorable Mention team after tallying five goals and two assists for 12 points last week
- Goucher returns home to host Virginia Wesleyan on Sept. 18
