CHESTER, Pa. – Goucher College drops a non-conference field hockey match at Widener College on Tuesday.
Devin Brashear (Escondido, Calif./San Pasqual) made nine saves in the loss. Danielle Johnson (Salisbury, Md./Parkside) and Mia Wiggins (San Diego, Calif./University City) both registered shots on goal in the fourth quarter for the Gophers.
The Pride scored a goal in the first, second and fourth quarters to earn the 3-0 win in the first meeting between the two teams since 2013.
Goucher returns to action at Scranton on Saturday. Match time is 1 p.m.
