BALTIMORE, Md. – Goucher College drops a Landmark Conference field hockey match to Catholic University of America on Wednesday.
Gillian Sickler (Alexandria, Va./West Potomac) made four saves in 41:35 minutes of work while Devin Brashear (Escondido, Calif./San Pasqual) turned away one shot in 15 minutes.
Danielle Johnson (Salisbury, Md./Parkside) recorded two shots while Ari Hooper (San Diego, Calif./Poway) and Mickey Nelson (Frederick, Md./Urbana) had a shot each in the loss.
The Cardinals scored four times in the first quarter, once in the third quarter and three times in the fourth quarter to earn a 4-0 win.
Goucher returns to action on Saturday at home against Susquehanna University. Match time is 1 p.m.
