Carter, Mikles, Wang Recognized as NFHCA Scholars of Distinction

GENEVA, N.Y. - Three members of the Goucher College field hockey team were recognized as Scholars of Distinction by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) on Thursday. A total of 473 student-athletes at Division III institutions were recognized.
The Scholars of Distinction program recognizes student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.9 or higher through the first semester of the 2022-23 academic year.
Recognized for Goucher were Daryn Carter (Dover, Pa./Dover Area), Zoe Mikles (Jarrettsville, Md./North Harford) and Alana Wang (Louisville, Ky./North Oldham).
A total of 19 student-athletes from the eight Landmark Conference institutions were honored.
