NFHCA Announces National Academic Squad and Scholars of Distinction
TOWSON, Md. - The National Field Hockey Coaches Association annouced the National Academic Squad on February 12th, which consisted of eight Goucher athletes. This recognition is given to athletes who earned a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher through Fall 2024.
Seniors Kaitlyn Bucci and Zoe Mikles both were recognized, and were also members of the Scholars of Disctinction, which is awarded to athletes who earn a cumulative 3.9 GPA or higher through the Fall semester.
Five Sophomores were also named, including Angelena Holmes, Katie Bloom, Camden West, Baylee Klose, and Charlotte Bloom. The final member of the Academic Squad was First Year Mimi Taff. Taff earned Scholar of Distinction in her semester at Goucher as well.
Homes, K. Bloom, West, and Klose finalized the remainder of the Scholar of Disctinction team for Goucher Field Hockey.
