Kristi Merashoff joins the coaching staff following an accomplished collegiate playing career spanning five seasons at both Northeastern University and the University of Delaware.

A goalkeeper, Merashoff concluded her career at Delaware in 2025 after helping lead the Fightin' Blue Hens to the program's first-ever MPSF Field Hockey Championship. She started all 14 games she appeared in, posting a 5-8 record while recording two shutouts against Lock Haven and Towson. She was recognized for her excellence in the classroom as a Conference USA Commissioner's Academic Medal recipient and earned a spot on the Conference USA Academic Honor Roll.

Prior to transferring to Delaware, Merashoff spent four seasons at Northeastern, where she developed into one of the Colonial Athletic Association's top goalkeepers. In 2024, she started all 19 contests and finished with a 12-7 record, a 1.81 goals-against average, 77 saves, and a .694 save percentage. She recorded a shutout victory over Stanford and matched her career-high with nine saves against both Boston College and Syracuse. Her outstanding season earned her CAA Defensive Player of the Week honors.

Off the field, Merashoff excelled academically throughout her collegiate career. She was named to the NFHCA National Academic Squad three times (2021, 2023, 2024), earned NFHCA Scholar of Distinction honors in 2024, was a three-time member of the CAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll, and continued her academic success at Delaware with Conference USA academic recognition. She graduated from Northeastern University in 2025.

A native of Towson, Maryland, Merashoff was a four-year letterwinner and senior captain at Towson High School. She earned All-Baltimore County honors, was selected to the 2019 Under Armour Select Game, and helped lead her team to the 2019 National Indoor Tournament championship. In addition to field hockey, she lettered in indoor track and tennis, demonstrating the versatility and competitive drive she now brings to the coaching profession.
