  • The Gophers will face host Roanoke on Friday, who is led by Goucher alum Clay Nunley and he was a freshman on the 1994-95 Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) Tournament championship team that defeated defending national champion Lebanon Valley in the open round of the NCAA Division III Tournament for the college's first-ever NCAA Tournament win
  • It is the 16th meeting against the Maroons and the second time Nunley will face his alma mater as the head coach of Roanoke
  • Goucher will face either Johnson & Wales or York (Pa.) in either the consolation or championship game on Saturday
  • It would be the first meeting against Johnson & Wales if the two teams would play each other
