NCAA Division III Week: Questions & Answers With Goucher Men's Basketball Freshman Josh Lichti

Josh Lichti is a freshman on the men's basketball team. Lichti averaged 5.7 points and 3.8 rebounds per game while starting all 25 games. The freshman reached double figures three times in 2019-20 including a career-high 16 points against Christendom on November 19.

    Thanksgiving because of the food and spending time with family.

    Always snooze at least once

    Peanut butter first.

    Dragon

    Pizza

    Batman because he has no superpowers but still fights evil

    No pineapple on pizza is terrible.

Why did you decide to attend (school)?
I chose Goucher because I loved the campus and they were the first school to recruit me.

What makes being a Division III student-athlete special?
I think the fact that we don't get scholarships and we're just playing for the love of the game makes us special.

What is the best advice you can give another athlete?
The best advice I could give another athlete is to never forget why you play and to enjoy it.
