Rangers Secure Conference Win Over Gophers

Towson, Md.- The Gophers (4-13 overall, 3-7 Landmark) fall to the Rangers (13-3 overall, 9-0 Landmark) of Drew University. This conference match-up hosted at the Decker Sports and Recreation Center lead to the Rangers winning 98-69.

• Nemo Johnson starts the scoring with a 2-pointer in the first minute of the game. 
• The Rangers inch ahead thats repsonded to with 2-point shots by Darrell Green and Jayden Saunders.
• Drew went on a 10 point scoring run that was stopped by Saunders with (3:07) remaining.
• Rangers take the half 62-33.

• Rangers make the first two shots of the half. 
• Gophers start a scoring run with shots from Chima Egeonu, Peter Capan, and Avree Harris.
• Thomas Lewis and Brian Griffin add points for the Gophers with three minutes remaining. 
• Drew maintains their lead through the half winning 98-69. 

• Saunders led the Gophers scoring 15 points and one steal. 
• The Gophers shot 44.9% overall, and went 1-7 beyond the arc. They forced 9 turnovers resulting in seven points.
• The Rangers shot 44.2% overall, and went 13-45 beyond the arc. They forced 24 turnovers resulting in 31 points.
