Murdaugh Earns CSC Academic All-District
BALTIMORE, MD – Goucher College men's basketball sophomore Jack Murdaugh was named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, announced today by the organization.
The CSC Academic All-District honor recognizes student-athletes who excel both athletically and academically. To be eligible, nominees must be at least a sophomore academically, maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50, and be key contributors to their team.
The sophomore from Middletown, Delaware, Murdaugh played an important role for the Gophers during the 2025-26 season. He appeared in all 25 games, while starting in six. He shot 41.3% from the field, 43.1% from beyond the arc, and finishing 76.5% at the free-throw line. In the classroom, Murdaugh is majoring in Economics with a minor in Political Science, while maintaining a cumulative 3.95 GPA, exemplifying the program's commitment to academic excellence while balancing the demands of collegiate basketball.
Murdaugh continues representing athletic and academic excellence in the spring season as a member of the men's lacrosse team.
