Bio
Mike Doyle joins the Goucher staff 13 years after concluding a standout career as a player with the Gophers.
In his three seasons, Doyle started 79 of the team's 81 games, leading the Gophers to two Capital Athletic Conference titles and an overall 37-5 record in conference play.
The 6-5 guard led the team in assists in each of his seasons and still holds the single-game school record for assists in a game with 13, set against Salisbury in 1998.
The all-time Goucher record book is littered with mentions of the Laurel, Md., native, as he ranks in the top five in career free throw percentage (.771, fourth), assists (336, third), assists per game (4.0, second) and steals (190, third).
Doyle joins the staff to aid in scouting, recruiting and to work primarily with the forwards and post players.
He now lives in Annapolis, Md., with his fiancee Shannon and their two children Olivia and Avery.
