Bio
Thomas Lewis will join Goucher Men's Basketball to serve as the Graduate Assistant Coach as of August 2026.
Prior to joining Goucher, Lewis served as an assistant men's basketball coach at McDaniel College for one season. In that role, responsibilities included recruiting, opponent scouting, player development, game preparation, film analysis, practice planning, and other day-to-day operations of the program. During the 2025–26 season, McDaniel finished with a 16-11 record, earned its first Centennial Conference Tournament appearance since 2016, and qualified for the ECAC Tournament.
A graduate of Goucher College, Lewis was a four-year member of the men's basketball program. During the 2023–24 season, the Gophers earned the program's first Landmark Conference Tournament appearance in 25 years. Lewis earned a bachelor's degree in Business Management with a minor in Psychology upon his graduation from the college in 2025 and is currently pursuing a Master of Education in Athletic Program Leadership and Administration at Goucher College.
