Men’s Golf Places Fifth at Jefferson Golf Classic

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Goucher Men's Golf program placed fifth overall out of 13 teams Tuesday afternoon at the Jefferson Golf Classic.

The Gophers finished with a total score of 331 to place in the top five as a team. Meanwhile, Felician won the Classic with a score of 317.

Three Gophers finished with three scores under 85 in blustery conditions at the ACE Club. Joe Burns (Kinnelon, N.J.) led the Gophers with a final score of 81, followed by Roberto Mikse (Fort Worth, Texas) and Evan Yue (Beijing, China), who carded a pair of 83's to round out the top performances on the day for Goucher.

Goucher travels to Moosic, Pa. Sunday, April 22nd and Monday, April 23rd to play at Glenmaura National Golf Club to play against King's College and the University of Scranton.
