• The Goucher men's golf team kicks off year three in program history as the two-time defending Landmark Conference champions
• The Gophers will open the season with the Inaugural Spartans Invitational over the weekend hosted by York College
• The team returns all eight players from last year's title team including All-Landmark Conference first-team selections Julian Gonzalez and Evan Yue along with second-team honorees Nick Fisher and Steph Lee
• Gonzalez was also named to the NCAA Division III PING All-Mid-Atlantic Region team and an NCAA Division III PING All-America honorable mention
• Head coach Hunter Brown was also named Landmark Conference Player of the Year last year
• The squad has added two newcomers to the team for the 2019-20 season
