LITITZ, Pa. – Evan Yue (Beijing, China/IMG Academy) finished ninth to lead the Goucher men's golf team to a ninth-place standing at the Franklin & Marshall Fall Invitational on Monday.
Yue shot a 76 in his final round of the fall to finish in ninth place, seven strokes behind the medalist.
Nick Fisher (Fishers, Ind./Fishers) (15th place, 78), Julian Gonzalez (Heredia, Costa Rica/Berkeley Academy) (32nd place, 82), Steph Lee (Manalapan, N.J./St. John Vianney) (41st place, 84) and Roberto Mikse (Fort Worth, Texas/Jim McClean Junior Academy) (53rd place, 88) rounded out the Gophers five competitors.
Franklin & Marshall "Blue" won its own tournament with a round of 307, five strokes ahead of Catholic (312) while Franklin & Marshall "White" (313), Stevenson (314) and Drew (316) rounded out the Top-5 teams. Goucher posted a 320 on the afternoon , its highest round for the A squad in the fall.
This event completes the fall season for the Goucher men's golf team. The spring schedule will be announced on the website in the next couple of months.
