Men's Golf Places 14th at the Dickinson Fall Invitational
CARLISLE, PA- The Goucher College Men's Golf team traveled to compete in day two of the Dickinson Fall Invitational.
The team sat it ninth after day one, after scoring a 299(+11). The team dropped to 14th place to conclude day two, after shooting a 314 (+26). This gave them a combined score of 613 (+37).
Junior Tyler Lynch led the Gophers with his T-11th finish. He shot 73 (+1) in round one and an even 72 in round two for a total score of 145 (+1).
Teammates Riley Ruby and Ryan Combs placed close together. Ruby tied for 55th, with his final score of 153 (+9). On day one, he scored 70 (-2), then shooting 83 (+11) on the second day of competition. Combs was not far behind with a final score of 154 (+10). This came after shooting 76 (+4) on day one and 78 (+6 ) on day two.
Rounding out the team was Maxime Pocat and Zeer Vittadanont. Pocat ended the classic placing 88th. He finshed day one with a score of 80 (+8) and ended day two with a score of 81 (+9). Bringing his total score to 161 (+17). Vittadanont tied for 97th with a final score of 166 (+22), which came from him shooting 82 (+10) on day one, and 84 (+12) on day two.
The Gophers are back in action at Susquehanna on Thusday, September 18th, before competing in the The Gauntlet the following weekend.
