Ruby Rises to the Top at Cardinal Fall Classic
HAGERSTOWN, MD- The Goucher College Gophers finished in third place at the Cardinal Fall Classic. After a day one score of 295 (+7) and a day two score of 298 (+10), the team finished with a total score of 593 (+17).
Junior Riley Ruby won the Cardinal Fall Classic. He shot 71 (-1) on day one with an improvement on day two with a score of 70 and being under two par. His two day total was 141 (-3).
Ryan Combs was not too far behind Ruby. He tied for fourth with and day one score of 71 (-1) and a day two score of 74 (+2). His total score for both days was 145 (+1).
Tyler Lynch finished day one at the Cardinal Fall Classic with a score of 74 (+2) and day two score of 76 (+4). He completed the course with a final score of 150 (+6) and tied for 18th.
Andy Hill Garcia tied for 34th place with a final score of 157 (+13). He ended day one with a score of 79 (+7) and he shot better on day two with a score of 78 (+6).
The Gophers were rounded out by Aidan Ungtrakul. Day one he shot 86 (+14). One day two, he had a major improvement with a score of 79 (+7). He ended the course tied for 55th with a two day score of 165 (+21).
The Gophers are back in action on Monday, September 29th at Stevenson.
